ROBERT IAN GOODMAN, ESQ.
Robert Ian Goodman is a practicing lawyer with a concentration in commercial domestic and international litigation, immigration law, business law, employment law and intellectual property law. He is principal attorney of the firm Robert Ian Goodman, Esq., based in Westchester County, New York and is Co-director of Immigration and Commercial Law Affiliates, an affiliation between his law office and H. Taufiq Choudhury, P.C., a New York City based law firm concentrating in immigration law. Mr. Goodman has represented companies as outside general counsel and serves as of counsel to a number of New York City law firms, including McCallion & Associates, LLP., which concentrates in tort litigation and trial practice. He has experience in many litigation areas including negotiation, mediation and arbitration as well as trial and appellate work on the state and Federal levels. Mr. Goodman graduated summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, from Tufts University, Medford Massachusetts, with a BA in International Relations and is a 1990 graduate of Columbia University School of Law. He is currently a member of the American Immigration Lawyers’ Association, the American Trial Lawyers’ Association, the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, and is a Member of the Board of Governors of the World Trade Council of the Westchester County Association. Aside from co-sponsoring InternationaLawHelp.com, Mr. Goodman currently directs the International Center for Law Trade and Diplomacy, Inc., an international law research organization, and has been past co-chair of the Committee on Foreign and International Law of the New York County Lawyers’ Association.
