my question relatates to this decision made by the French court concerning my partner`s children. They are french-american, living with their mother in France, The French court basically gave full custody to the mother and the kids cannot come to the USA in any circumstances. Some of them want to live here or at least stay for a school year. Is there anything we can do? On the other hand a 13 yeard old daughter came last year to spend the school year and now wants to stay, can our State have jurisdiction of her case since she has been here for over 1 year?
